What is Xeomin?

Xeomin is a prescription medication of a purified protein that is injected into a muscle to temporarily immobilize the muscle resulting in a decrease in the lines on the skin above it.

Xeomin Treatment

Common treatment areas are between the eyebrows in the furrow lines, around the eyes for crows feet lines, on the forehead for horizontal lines.  The injections inhibit the nerve impulses from reaching the facial muscle which prevent muscle movement resulting in a softening of existing facial lines and prevents them from getting deeper.  The procedure only takes minute to perform and does not require anesthesia.

Xeomin Effects

The effects of Xeomin can be seen within 2-5 days after injection and results typically last as long as 3-4 months.
